Georgina & Craigs’ stunning winter wedding
Georgina & Craig tied the knot with a beautiful, intimate wedding at Altamount Manor, Blairgowrie.
After falling in love with the beautiful Perthshire Countryside, Georgina and Craig made the decision to ditch the hustle and bustle of Glasgow and chose Blairgowrie as their wedding destination. Opting for an intimate wedding at Altamount Manor, I knew this wedding would be filled to the brim with love and laughter. And after meeting Craig and Georgina a couple of months prior I couldn’t wait for their big day.. plus, who doesn’t love a Christmassy wedding right?

Craig & Georgina had opted for photography from just before the ceremony until their wedding dance. So I arrived at the Altamount about 1.20pm. Craig and some of the guys were catching some fresh air so after a wee stroll around the grounds I got him and his groomsmen for some pre ceremony shots.
The couple were keen for their photography to be fairly relaxed so I spent time getting candid shots of the guests throughout the day, starting just before the ceremony, where the guests were gathered in the cozy drawing room.
Georgina, meanwhile, was upstairs getting ready with her 3 bridesmaids, Georgie, Deana & Lakshmi. They were in good hands with the super talented Kirsty Macpherson in charge of their hair and makeup and Georgina looked radiant in her stunning Sonsie by Veromia dress from Love Your Curves boutique as she emerged down the stairs. There was an emotional moment as her Dad met her to walk her down the aisle.
Craig waited patiently for Georgina to make her entrance to the sound of PM’s Love Theme by Craig Armstrong. A lovely ceremony was conducted by Joan from Perth & Kinross Registrars, Deanna read “I’ll be there for you” and the proceedings were finalised by the newlyweds sharing a wee dram from a silver quaich.
It was a cold but dry and crisp afternoon, knowing that light wasn’t on our side we made a start on the couple and a few group photos that Craig & Georgina had requested.
In between the formal photos and the guests being seated for the wedding breakfast there was plenty time for some natural shots.
The function suite was beautifully decorated with thousands of twinkling lights, creating a really cozy and festive atmosphere. The cake was decorated with festive berries and foliage and was baked by Georginas dad. The stunning winter bouquets were designed by the super talented team at Something Special Flowers
Speeches were next, fabulously delivered by Adrian, Craig, Jack and an impromptu few words from Craigs Dad that had everyone in stitches.
With all the formalities over with it was time to get the part started with the help of Lee Live the DJ. The new Mr & Mrs Berry cut the cake before taking to the dancefloor for their 1st dance as husband and wife, swaying round the floor to “Say you won’t let go” by James Arthur.
What a wonderful, relaxed day I had with this wonderful lot. Wishing them all the very best for a long and happy future together.
